Foxy Gumdrop

I have a sugar "problem". Its been there my whole life. Way too much of my time is spent thinking about sweets, ogling pictures of sweets, or baking sweets. And secretly, or not so secretly, when I painted this image (A few years ago):

This guy

and this girl

are sort of me......in a gross way.
As a result, I decided to make a new blog in addition to this one. It's called Foxy Gumdrop and it would be super if you took a peek at it.

New Jewelry Coming Soon

For the last six months, I've been developing a new necklace technique to sell in my shop. I will still be selling my old necklaces ( the ones with the tiny prints of my artwork) However, they will not be my focus. The new ones were painstakingly hand sculpted and cast in resin. The resin will then be set into settings similar to the ones I have used in the past. The subject of the new spring line is Good Luck. They'll be available in 2 color ways, black background and cream relief and antique green and cream relief.

These are the oil clay originals before casting ~ Magic Lamp, Rabbit's Foot, Heart, White Butterfly, Horseshoe, Acorn and Four Leaf Clover ~ Seven all together.

~Today's Step~
The first color is curing overnight. Tomorrow black will be put it.

I know, they are not pretty at this stage, but they'll come out super in the end.
